Dear Rotaract Devotees,

The 20th Meeting of the 330th Term of the Rotaract Club of Galatasaray was held at the Gayrettepe Dedeman Hotel in April 8th, 2010.

Starting with the gong ring on 19.45, the 20th Meeting was one of the rare meetings, where all members of the Executive Committee was present. After our classic Happy Days and Regional Announcements, each committee took turn to inform members about the recent developments. Taking the floor for the International Service Committee; Öznur told us the specifics of the Route Istanbul project, the ongoing twin club plans and the Sicilian friends we're gonna host on April 23rd. Then, representing the Club Service Committee, Tuğba informed us about the regional assembly to be held on 17-18 April. She also surprised all of us with plans of a future get-together meal at her place. She  also talked about the RotaArt activity taking place in May. Anıl from the Community Service Committee reported us the current progress on the Health Scan project.

Then we all gave our feedbacks on the Handicapped Career Day, we have organised a week ago. Being among us that day, the sign language instructor Mrs. Ayse and Mr. Taylan (representing the Besiktas Municipality) also shared their own comments.

Then the floor was Can Berk's to make his presentation. He shared his thoughts and adventures from the New York trip, he recently went.

Lastly, the secretary of the Rotaract Club of Besiktas, Cansu Savas, gave us a brief on the "Your Dreams are Ours" project and gave me the letters of students. I will be announcing them soon.

2009 - 2010 General Secretary

We are growing in number! Our beloved candidate member Birce Ciravoglu is finally inducted to the Rotaract Club of Galatasaray. We all congratulate her and wish her the best.

Welcome Birce!

Our dearest friend Ece, a long time candidate member has been accepted to the club membership during our Governor Trip. We congratulate her and wish her the best.

Our dear friend Zeynep is now in the US, studying in Georgetown University as an exchange student. We knew this for a while now but surely didn't expect her to go this soon. Anyways, we wish the best for her and want her to know that, she will be missed dearly in the meantime!

Having said that, we believe to have prepared her successfully for the Code-X mission. She should befriend a Rotaract Club nearby her new university and make them fans of our beloved club!

Hello Everyone

First of all, I'm truly sorry for sending the report today, when it was due yesterday. My fellow Can Berk has sent a very explanatory summary of the whole meeting, touching upon almost everything; the important points, voting results and funny moments of the evening. I thank him for his efforts. Furthermore, I congratulate all the elected future presidents; Tugba Ozdinc, Nevin Isik, Aysegul Dogan and Ege Elmaci.

I'm utmost sure that each one of you will commit yourselves to highly successful projects, strengthening the place of Galatasaray Rotaract among other clubs. And I sincerely hope, to have the chance to work with each and everyone of you in the future.
