From the foundation date of March 13, 1997 to this day, our club has completed several philanthropic projects concerning social and international services, and on November 20, 1999 it has been awarded with the Charter Document.

As its first project, in 1998 an Exchange trip to Rotaract Club Tirgumures of Romania was successfully organized with the total number 15 participants.

There also has been participation in EUCO Organizations in Antalya, Amsterdam, and Budapest.

With PEACE TRAIL of 2002, an international project was organized in which 38 young people from Israel, Greece, and Spain within the ages of 18 to 25 have participated.

This year we will be doing the 13^th of the traditional Galatasaray Rotaract and Rotaract Clubs Youth Forum in which every year we call for high school students, and divide them up in groups of 10 in where they discuss the topic of the forum freely in an appropriate environment. Additionally, the participants have a chance to get informed about Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact. After the discussions, we get to enlarge our family as various people join Rotaract or Interact.

With several projects, we have tried to reduce the needs of our pioneering schools; and we have done voluntary teaching. Furthermore, with the helps of the doctors from Istanbul University Çapa Medicine School, we were able to maintain health scans to the students.

We have spent time with the old people in the Elders’ House as we have been trying to meet their needs. Also, we have arranged milk supply for a year for our little brothers and sisters who have also been staying there.

Within the project of our NGO, symposium we have organized several seminars about civil society in several cities in 2002-2003 along with the other civil society organizations besides Rotaract.

We have done the foresting of Formula 1 track in 2005. For the memory of the dear Rtn.İlker Aşık whom we have lost in 2004, we have named the forest of more than 1000 various trees İlker Aşık Forest. We respectfully commemorate him in here one more time. 

We have offered more than 600 children first hand cloths with the help from our sponsors. This service was not limited with the boundaries of this city; we were also able to reach many primary school children with needs outside the city. Furthermore, in order to help society to gain conscience on, we have organized informative projects about AIDS, family planning, first aid, and water saving.

As the member of Rotaract Club of Galatasaray, we have completed many successful projects from the day of the establishment of our club. We will continue our philanthropic projects this year and for many years proceeding.

The website of our club has been redone for our 10^th year anniversary, and for it to be faster and to easily add content, with the leadership of the Public Relations Committee (THIK) and the sponsorship of LALİZ.BİZ host and suffix, Burak Bakar, the member of the committee, has prepared this website on 28 January 2008.

By 8 January 2009, the web site of our club was translated into English by our member friends in a colloboration of our Public Relations and Personal Development committees for the EUCO 2009 İstanbul Activities and for a better global communication. The new contents, anything like announcements and news, added to our web site are soon translated and added to the English version.
